I decorated a Treasures Journal Jar for the Creative Memories Project Center and filled it with tags that say what each family member is thankful for. The photos that I used for each tag are reduced in saturation to give it the same coloration as the paper. For directions to decorate the jar and lots of other cute Thanksgiving ideas, please see the Project Center here. Thank you for looking! I'm thankful for all of you, too :)
Our Creative Memories Design Team leader, Addie, gives us weekend challenges, and I had a great time with this one! Our challenge was to use a non-scrappy ad as inspiration, along with 75% (I think it was?) Creative Memories product on our layout. I immediately thought of the Catimini catalog because it never fails to inspire me with its beautiful clothes, photography, colors, details...
So, here is my inspiration from the Catimini catalog: and here is my layout using the Romance Power Palette and Pastel Autumn Additions, plus some Heidi Swapp and Maya Road, with American Craft letters. I even used a swirl that I printed out from my Creative Memories Digital Overlays :)
Would you like to play along with our challenge, too? I'll send you a RAK if you do :)
The links that are on my blog and in my posts may benefit me in some way by some affiliate program that I will have mentioned in the post, if it applies. Any links to Amazon are not affiliate links - I'm not going to take credit (or blame!) for your shopping sprees : )
And, please, do keep in mind, I am a papercrafts designer. If I've come up with something clever that you love, please be inspired by it and create it, too, but don't forget to credit where it came from. I'm not a corporation, just a working-at-home Mom like most of you.
If I've received any products used for free or been compensated in some way for things shown in the blog, I've probably been so excited that I've posted it with big exclamation marks, but, in case I forgot, here is the disclaimer that it could occur.
