I had ordered one of Prima's extra class kits from Donna Salazar's Prima Masters November class, and today was finally the day to break it out and play! I've never scrapped with corrugated cardboard before, so that was fun even if I did have a heck of a time separating out the layers! I also tried painting the Prima Paintables paper with acrylics instead of the usual watercolors or inks. I love how it came out. Really gave some pretty colors and textures. Huge thank you to Donna Salazar for the great kit and technique!

hubby's new rolodex

So, this is what I've been working on since December! I actually started it a few days before Christmas, and then with the holidays and birthday party (with 13 7-year olds!), it was pushed to the wayside. But I've finished it now, just in time for hubby's birthday (even though it was meant to be his Christmas present).

The thought behind this:
When we took the kids in to hubby's work for trick-or-treating on Halloween, I found out that he doesn't have a single photograph of me or us in his office. So, had to remedy that! This is almost all Maya Road with a few other embellishments. I tried really hard not to add flowers and ribbons and lace, but a few bits snuck in there, you'll see :)
