{make-n-take at my sketch world}

This weekend is the cybercrop at My Sketch World to celebrate their 2 year blog-aversary! It runs through Monday, so please come join in the fun (and chances to win prizes!).

This morning, I'm posting a Make-n-Take to create these little doorknob hangers. If you create one, make sure to post in the cybercrop thread at My Sketch World so you can be eligible for the raks and prizes that Lucy is giving away!

It starts this Thursday and runs all the way through the weekend at her new forum. Please be sure to pop in and say hello if you have a moment! There will be many, many challenges, some make-n-takes (1 from me!), and lots of games - big fun!

and a 1 and a 2 and a 3...

Every year, I place one big ol' hostess/workshop-size order with Stampin' Up! - not that it's the only order that I place each year, but it's definitely the biggest! So, this year's order arrived last week, and I'm having a blast playing with my pretty papers and pretty ribbons and pretty stamps and pretty buttons.....

This week's Sketches! {by tamara} #83 layout uses the new Flock Together papers. I didn't get the stamp set that goes with it, but the little Maya Road chipboard birdie coordinated just fine, I think. Did you know that Stampin' Up! does TEXTURED cardstock now?! It's awesome. The colors are so rich, and the texture/weight is totally there with Bazzill (which I never thought any cardstock would ever come close to!).

Happy President's Day! Hope it's a great one for you :)
