I loved, loved, LOVED using this week's sketch!
I call this page, "home SWEET home" - even though I didn't specifically include the title, the little elements of it are there if you look ;)
It reminds me of the layout that I did with Ellie and the stitched squares last year, but it has a bit of a different design. Also, that one was very whimsical (and busy!) and a double-pager. This one is very calm and simple. Each person in the Design Team did a very different take on the sketch - each of them very inspirational!
Obviously, I still have my Basic Grey 6x6 pads and my new Stampin' Up! yummy cardstock on my scrap table! LOL I used Basic Grey Mellow and SU! Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze colors. The embellishments are a mixture of old and new - some SU! buttons, clip and ribbon, a Prima brad, a Fiskars tag and epoxy, a K&Co. word, and a Maya Road house.
I fought the urge to distress the heck out of the squares. It would have looked alright, but I really wanted to keep simplicity with this one.
Hope you like it and find some inspiration!
Happy, happy Monday!!
Thank you for visiting :)
