from the June fan club gallery at Splitcoaststampers :
my write-up for it:
"When I said I do, I meant that I will...." Do you know that song by Clint Black? Well, funny story. A little background: my husband has a short attention span (like most men), and it's even shorter for long wedding vows that the excited bride-to-be chooses for the groom-to-be.
There was one part in those vows where we were meant to answer, "I will", and another part where we answer, "I do", to questions that the preacher asks. Well, dh says the wrong one for his first part, which throws off the preacher, who skips the second part for him and turns to me with that part.
So, for our vows, dh ended up "I will"-ing and I ended up "I do"-ing. And I have always hoped that we're still really, officially married anyway :)
So, long story short (!), it was very nice of Clint Black to write that song just for us, and I hope you can see in the layout how the "I do" is right there with the "I will."
Did you follow that? :)
