catalog book covers :)

http://scrappilyeverafter.stampinup.net

For this month's Creative Crew "Step It Up" Challenges, I created book covers for my catalogs using Designer Series Papers.

Remember how we used to fold paper bags to make our book covers for school? Well, I took that idea and adapted it for covering my catalogs. It's fun, cute, and a great way to show off the products when sharing catalogs :)

Mini Terrarium Craft
Inspired to Create challenge
This was so fun to make!!
(Well, an act of adhesive frustration, but still FUN!)

To see the photo used for inspiration (a cupcake with color square inspiration),
you must be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and go the Creative Crew Challenge Forum
at Splitcoast Stampers :)

The terrarium is made from Window Sheets and Home Sweet Home Thinlits.
The plants are from the Succulent Garden Suite in the Occasions Catalog.
And the butterfly came from the Annual Catalog.

If you order the products to make this project,
you'll qualify for a free Sale-a-Bration item of your choice!

february Creative Crew sketch challenge

For the Sketch Challenge for this month's Creative Crew,
I adapted the card inspiration into a 12x12 scrapbook page.
The original card folds in from the sides, creating a pocket of sorts,
but also creating two rounded parts that overlap.
Distressing edges is not only soft and shabby chic, but also forgiving when it comes to imperfect edging ;)

 Don't forget!!
During Sale-a-Bration, join my team as an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator,
and choose 2 additional stamp sets FREE!

{love is in the air} at splitcoast

 At Splitcoast Stampers,
the Creative Crew Challenge Theme for February is
Love is in The Air :)

The Creative Crew create projects based on chosen monthly themes and challenges from some awesome Stampin' Up! demonstrators/stampers/challenge-hostesses hanging out at Splitcoast.
The challenge details are for Stampin' Up! demonstrators only, but the projects are visible by all once posted to the Gallery.  And everyone is invited to play along!

This project is for the Technique Challenge.
I used a tutorial by Beate Johns for a Corner Bookmark.
When I was searching through the Tutorials, this one jumped out at me.  We are definitely readers in this house, and we are constantly losing and searching for bookmarks!

For my other Creative Crew February projects,  please keep scrolling through :)
I'm creating a separate post for each project.
And, please play along!!  It's much more fun that way!

Don't forget!!  Sale-a-Bration and the Occasions catalog continue!!
